Today I looked at the TVL of a few cross-chain bridges while drinking tea, and it was both up and down, lively like background noise. Honestly, what I fear most about bridges isn’t “getting stuck,” but them being too smooth: how many people are actually signing with multi-signature, who is feeding data to the oracle, everything seems fine normally, but when something happens, it’s all just acting. Many people complain that “waiting for confirmation” is slow, but I think those few minutes are buying time, at least allowing you to react to who you’ve actually entrusted your assets to.

Recently, AI Agents and automated trading are starting to interact across chains again. I’m actually a bit out of the loop… Watching others run strategies with one click is pretty cool, but my first thought is: if it automatically crosses bridges and authorizes, who’s responsible if something goes wrong? Anyway, I’d rather be a bit slower now, wait for a few more confirmation rounds, and give as little authorization as possible—just like that.
