Western Union Launches USDPT Stablecoin on Solana for Cross-Border Settlement
Western Union launched USDPT, a U.S. dollar stablecoin on Solana that Anchorage Digital Bank issues and backs 1:1 with the dollar. Western Union said USDPT will be integrated directly into its global payment system as a settlement layer. Western Union said the stablecoin will serve agents, partners, and future consumer application scenarios for cross-border payments.
