Alright, I discovered something interesting about which cryptocurrencies Elon Musk actually owns, and I have to say the picture is more complex than we think. Like, everyone knows about his love for Dogecoin, but the reality of his portfolio is quite different. Let's start with Bitcoin: Tesla invested 1.5 billion in 2021, although they sold most of it later. Musk, however, personally holds Bitcoin; he sees it as digital gold. Today, BTC is at 78.83K with a market dominance of 57.40% — it’s the undisputed king. Then there's Ethereum, which Musk confirmed owning during the 2021 conference. ETH is at 2.34K with a market cap of 282.04 billion — not bad as a second asset. But Musk's true love is Dogecoin, the cryptocurrency he transformed from a meme into a potential payment method. Today, DOGE is at 0.11 with a market cap of 17.05 billion. What’s surprising is how his tweets about dog-themed coins like Shiba Inu and Floki Inu have caused huge market movements, even though he denies owning SHIB. Floki Inu, named after his dog, remains a riskier bet. It's interesting how one person can influence the entire cryptocurrency sector so much.
