Odaily Planet Daily News: An American official stated that the rules of engagement for the U.S. military in the Middle East have changed, and they are now authorized to target ships crossing the Strait of Hormuz that pose a direct threat, such as fast boats of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard or Iranian missile sites.
