After I started recording these "on-chain information delay" pitfalls, my mindset actually became more stable.
In the past, when I saw a large transaction in or out, or a sudden jump in a pool's TVL, I thought I had grasped the truth.
But after a while, when I switched RPCs or changed indexers, the data looked different again...
To put it simply, what you see is only the perspective that a certain node is willing to give you at that moment.
It might still be syncing, it might be rate-limited, or the index might not be fully updated yet.
Recently, with new L1/L2 incentives pushing everyone to chase TVL, veteran users complain about "mining, selling,"
but I think it’s more like: you think others have already run away, but actually your view is still stuck.
Anyway, when I encounter abnormal fluctuations now, I wait first, or look at multiple sources,
otherwise, it’s pretty stupid to let your emotions be driven by a series of delayed data.
