Lately I've been debating again about wallets: hardware wallets, multi-signature, social recovery— which one suits my small asset size better. Honestly, for small amounts, there's no need to make yourself look like a vault; a hardware wallet is enough, just don't take photos of your seed phrase and toss it around. When it really reaches a level of "can't sleep at night," multi-signature is like changing the lock to two bolts—troublesome, but it gives peace of mind. I quite like the romantic feel of social recovery, finding a few people as "guardians"—it sounds soft, but the premise is that you truly trust them and can stay in contact long-term. Recently, AI Agents and automated trading are getting more and more mysterious, but I care more about whether they will sign things on your behalf recklessly... Anyway, install the lock first, then talk about automation. In the end, it's still that sentence: don't let the "guardians" become your biggest variable.
