Stellar network is gearing up for an upcoming governance week, as auditors prepare to vote on Protocol 26, known as Yardstick, on May 6 at 17:00 UTC. This update comes at a time when the network is experiencing increased activity of real-world assets, new developer engagement, and new tools aimed at users across its ecosystem.
Yardstick is a protocol release for companies and developers building infrastructure, SDKs, and auditors before the mainnet vote. Stellar has published an official guide providing stable releases, an update to the testnet completed on April 16, and a detailed explanation of how participants can join as auditors.
