Layer2 Network Mantle Completes ZK Rollup Architecture Transition
Techub News, citing a report from Nansen, says that the Layer2 network Mantle has completed its transition to a ZK Rollup architecture. This upgrade will fundamentally change its underlying technology architecture. Data shows that Aave-related metrics within the Mantle ecosystem surpassed $1 billion within 19 days, and the ecosystem’s DeFi TVL also reached a new all-time high. Mantle was originally an Optimistic Rollup network incubated by BitDAO, and its shift to ZK Rollup marks a major adjustment to its technical roadmap. ZK Rollup uses zero-knowledge proof technology, which offers faster final confirmation times and higher security than Optimistic Rollup.
