Several Types of People Suitable for Long-Term Management Roles

1. Good character: What does it mean to have good character?
Rooted in inner cultivation: humility, reverence, so you are dependable.
Self-awareness without reminders: consistent words and actions, being an honest person.
Kindness that considers others: empathy, thinking of others.
2. Broad-mindedness that benefits others:
If they enjoy helping others succeed, can see others as especially excellent, feel happy about subordinates' growth, and gain a strong sense of achievement, then they are suitable to be managers; if they have a heroic individualism mindset, feeling their spotlight is taken by subordinates, then being a star employee might be more appropriate.
3. Systematic thinking:
In fact, management is about managing people and affairs. You need to handle both the team and the business; behind managing people and affairs is a management system. Many people, although in management positions, actually lack a management system, routines, and methods.
4. People with a strong sense of goals are suitable to be managers:
They act with direction, focus on results; skilled at breaking down long-term goals into medium- and short-term objectives; able to connect goals with the means and pathways to achieve them. A manager’s sense of purpose is aimed at the team. Setting appropriate structured goals for the team (with key points emphasized), driving the team to continuously achieve goals, and moving from victory to victory are important tasks for managers.
