Six departments organize the pilot for the integrated development of traditional Chinese medicine service consumption and service trade

The Ministry of Commerce, the Central Propaganda Department, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the State Administration for Market Regulation, the General Administration of Sports, and the National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine organized the “Originating from China, Benefiting the World: Pilot Program for the Integrated Development of Traditional Chinese Medicine Service Consumption and Service Trade,” and designated 18 regions as pilot areas for the integrated development of traditional Chinese medicine service consumption and service trade. According to reports, based on the work plan, in the next three years, the pilot regions will take the lead in areas such as traditional Chinese medicine cultural exchanges, promotion of traditional Chinese medicine tourism routes, traditional Chinese medicine health and wellness services, medicinal diet services, and traditional Chinese medicine sports services, to meet the multi-level demands of the international health and wellness market, providing high-quality, diversified traditional Chinese medicine health service packages and consumption scenarios. This aims to promote the coordinated development of traditional Chinese medicine service consumption and service trade, and contribute Chinese wisdom and solutions to building a community of shared human health.
