These past few days, I've been looking at LST and re-staking again, honestly, the returns look like "taking an extra share," but the money isn't just falling from nowhere: part of it is from the basic staking, the rest mainly relies on new protocol subsidies, point expectations, and selling security again (others pay you a risk premium). I just passively watch the curve, and the more I look, the more I feel this thing is more like stacking LEGO blocks... stacking higher and higher, and when the wind blows, it wobbles.

It’s a bit scary: a few days ago, I almost re-staked a LST again, and at the moment of signing, I realized the contract was newly deployed, with pretty centralized permissions. My palms instantly started sweating, so I decided to withdraw first. The modular/DA layer narrative that developers are talking about is flying high, but as a user like me, I’m just confused, and I can only remind myself: don’t force yourself to take on ununderstood yields, don’t gamble your principal just for an extra 0.x%.
