Iran’s vice speaker said parliament will approve a Strait of Hormuz Management Law that would require vessels to obtain Iranian authorization to pass. Ali Nikzad said the law would permanently ban Israeli vessels and require ships from “hostile nations” to pay “war reparations” for passage permits.
