Recently, airdrop season has made me feel like I'm back in evening self-study sessions.

The task platforms immediately become witch-hunting grounds, and the point system is so competitive that it’s like “workers keep working after hours”…
But honestly, the more intense competition on the chain happens in places you can't see: MEV and that set of front-running and reordering.

You think clicking a swap is the end of it? Actually, many times you're competing with the “faster person” to get to the front.
Who does front-running affect? Small, laid-back users probably just lose a bit more on slippage, and a few curses are enough;
The ones truly getting wrecked are those chasing hot topics, opening positions at the start, or trying to clear liquidation lines—suddenly they become fuel for others to make money.
As for fairness, on the chain, it’s not that there are no rules, but that the rules allow you to pay to get a better spot.
Anyway, I now set limit orders when I can, avoid chasing when I don’t have to, and try not to join the frenzied crowd during peak times to avoid being seen as “part of the chaos.”
