Recently, I dug up some old stories from the crypto world and remembered the founder who once caused quite a stir in the exchange circle. I heard he has a nickname in the community called "Nurse" because of the ruthless operational tactics of a certain early exchange. Born in 1985 in Huai'an, Jiangsu, he experienced several startup failures, trying everything from group buying, O2O, to document sharing, until around 2012 when he accidentally came into contact with Bitcoin and finally found his direction.

At that time, Bitcoin was only $20 each. He bought some, not expecting this decision to change his life trajectory. Later, he founded a major crypto exchange, which once became one of the top in the country. But that's how things go in the circle—when things are glamorous, everyone wants to get close; when trouble hits, they turn and walk away.

Around 2018, regulation began tightening, and major domestic exchanges started removing search engines, with those once high-profile influencers on social media also going low-key. This founder was also taken in for investigation due to involvement in some controversial incidents. There were rumors that it was related to underground banks involved in the financing process. At that time, the exchange was unable to process withdrawals, causing panic withdrawals. Later, it was explained that the keys were held by the founder, so withdrawals were temporarily restricted.

Interestingly, this founder also experienced a scandal in 2018. A user lost over 500k yuan due to a contract liquidation, even threatening to "fight him to the death." He was taken to Shanghai for investigation. It’s said that he was so hungry because he hadn’t eaten, some supporters even pooled money to buy him a bun, but he later denied this story.

But just looking at these controversies would be too one-sided. This founder actually also did a lot of charity work. In 2016, he donated 500k yuan to his high school alma mater, establishing an educational reward fund. Later, he led company volunteers to donate in the mountainous areas of Yunnan, and participated in activities organized by the United Nations Children's Fund, trying to use blockchain technology to trace the flow of donations, ensuring transparency and immutability.

He once said, "Blockchain will protect every person's small act of kindness," which sounds a bit idealistic. From being questioned and betrayed to later growth, this person's experience is quite intriguing. Some things seem huge at first, but fade over time; some people seem ruthless, but in the end, you realize that the true human way is through perseverance.

Speaking of contract trading, I want to remind everyone that the risks are always greater than you imagine. Many issues that can't be detailed are the real hidden dangers. Instead of blindly playing with contracts aggressively, it’s better to hold coins steadily. When it comes to investing, you must stay within your own risk tolerance—losing money is a lesson you give yourself.
