I’ve been tracking airdrops for a long time and want to share my experience on how to find projects that are truly worth it—and avoid scams.

First, I’ll talk about the most important thing—checking legitimacy. This is critical. Before I start looking for the next airdrop, I always look at the project team and search for information in official sources. I check their Twitter, Discord, and official website. If something seems off or there isn’t enough information, I skip it.

As for how I search, I follow several sources at the same time. Crypto news sites, of course, help, but it’s best to subscribe to specialized channels and groups where people share their discoveries. I also join active crypto communities and forums—there, they often find out about new airdrops before anyone else.

When I want to find an airdrop that interests me, the next step is to read the terms carefully. What tasks need to be completed? Follow on social media? Invite friends? It’s important to understand this in advance. Usually, you need to follow on Twitter, join Discord, and maybe retweet. Then you provide your wallet address.

The most important thing—be careful with fakes. Seriously, scams in this area are thriving. Never share private keys, don’t send tokens to unknown addresses, and don’t click suspicious links. Participate only in airdrops from projects that you trust at least a little.

Wallet and key storage is a separate matter. Use reliable wallets, enable two-factor authentication, and don’t leave active sessions unattended. These are basic security rules, but they save you.

In short, how to find a good airdrop is a combination of community activity, common sense, and caution. Good luck hunting!
