Doubao will add a paid subscription outside of the free mode, official response

Mars Finance News reported on May 4 that recently, a paid-version service statement appeared on the Doubao App Store page. In response, the official Doubao team said that Doubao has always provided free services. On the basis of its free services, Doubao is also exploring the launch of more value-added services; details of the related plans are currently still in the testing phase. In addition, sources close to Doubao revealed that the paid features will mainly focus on complex task and productivity scenarios, such as PPT generation, data analysis, and film and television production. As the model’s capabilities continue to be upgraded, the product can now meet an increasing number of complex and high-value tasks. However, such tasks require more computing power and inference time, so Doubao plans to roll out paid services to meet the needs of these complex scenarios.
