Odaily Planet Daily News: The U.S. Central Command announced that the military will begin supporting “Freedom of Action” on May 4, deploying 15,000 personnel, missile destroyers, and over a hundred aircraft to assist commercial ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz. This mission, ordered by Trump, aims to restore the freedom of commercial vessels to navigate through this vital international trade route.

According to CCTV International News, on May 2 local time, Iranian Parliament Vice Speaker Ali Nikzad emphasized in an interview along the coast of the Strait of Hormuz, “The Strait of Hormuz will not return to pre-war conditions, and Iran will absolutely not retreat from the Strait of Hormuz.”

SPI Asset Management Managing Partner Stephen Innes stated in a briefing about the shipping plan, “This could shift the situation from confrontation to controlled stability. Of course, there are risks, as threats from (Iran) still exist, and Trump’s plan remains uncertain, especially whether the U.S. will ultimately provide naval cover.” (Jin10)
