Recently, I revisited some articles about the fortune of the Year of the Horse, and I noticed there’s quite a bit of conflicting information online. Especially regarding the concept of phạm thái tuế, each article explains it differently, which can confuse readers. I decided to study it more carefully to share a clear explanation.
In fact, phạm thái tuế is not just one type; it includes five different types: trị thái tuế, xung thái tuế, hình thái tuế, hại thái tuế, and phá thái tuế. Among them, trị thái tuế (the year of one’s birth sign) is considered the most negative impact on fortune, causing major upheavals. Xung thái tuế is also significant, sometimes even more so than trị thái tuế. When affected by these two types, you need to be more cautious about health, emotions, career, and finances.
Hình thái tuế is quite special. It’s an underlying influence that can appear alongside other phạm thái tuế types. The difficulty with hình thái tuế is that it can easily cause legal troubles. I’ve seen many people unaware of hình thái tuế, leading to issues with contracts or disputes. Therefore, when hình thái tuế is present, special attention should be paid to legal documents and health.
Hại thái tuế and phá thái tuế have slightly milder effects. Hại thái tuế often brings external disturbances, such as slander, malicious people, or verbal disputes. Phá thái tuế relates to relationship breakdowns, financial issues, or health problems.
But it’s not always bad. Besides phạm thái tuế, there is also hợp thái tuế — favorable years. Hợp thái tuế is divided into lục hợp (two zodiac signs combining, very strong luck) and tam hợp (three signs combining, fairly strong luck).
Looking specifically at the Year of the Horse, people born in the Year of the Goat have the best luck with lục hợp. Next are those born in the Year of the Tiger and the Year of the Dog, with tam hợp. Conversely, people born in the Year of the Rat face the most difficulties, experiencing both trị thái tuế and hình thái tuế. Those born in the Year of the Bovine also face challenges with xung thái tuế. People born in the Year of the Rabbit have some minor difficulties, but less severe.
Honestly, I don’t put too much faith in these predictions. Every New Year, there are articles about zodiac signs, horoscopes, MBTI, but they’re just for entertainment. The important thing is not to completely believe or worry excessively about a year of phạm thái tuế. If there’s hợp thái tuế, you can reasonably take advantage of it; if there’s phạm thái tuế, just be more cautious in transactions and pay attention to health. Ultimately, I hope that in this Year of the Horse, everyone will be lucky, what you invest will pay off, and there will be success in both finances and relationships. Wishing you all a very auspicious Year of the Horse!
