CryptoWorld News reports that U.S. President Trump announced earlier that the United States will begin guiding commercial ships away from the Strait of Hormuz. He also stated that negotiations between the U.S. and Tehran are still ongoing, aiming to find a way to end the conflict. According to a senior U.S. official, this new initiative, called the "Freedom Plan" by Trump, is designed to enable countries, insurance companies, and shipping organizations to coordinate vessel transit through the Strait of Hormuz. The official said that currently, the plan does not involve U.S. Navy warships escorting ships through the strait.
