Just checked the on-chain data and Satoshi Nakamoto's net worth situation is pretty wild right now. So back in early October 2025, his Bitcoin holdings hit an all-time high, putting him solidly in the top 10 wealthiest people globally. But after the recent market pullback, things shifted pretty dramatically.
He's dropped roughly $20 billion in portfolio value over the last couple weeks. Still sitting pretty though - now ranked around 15th worldwide, which is still above names like Alice Walton and Michael Bloomberg. The thing that gets me is he's still holding those same 1.1 million BTC from 2009, completely untouched. That's insane when you think about it.
With BTC trading around $80K right now, the swings in Satoshi Nakamoto's net worth are basically a direct reflection of where the market goes. One correction and you're looking at a $20 billion swing. It's a reminder of how volatile these macro-level movements can be in crypto, even for the largest holders. The guy's essentially a passive hodler watching his wealth fluctuate with every market cycle.
