Today I was a bit annoyed again by MEV stuff, basically on-chain front-running. I used to think it only affected "unlucky retail traders with more slippage," but after checking my logs, I realized the worst part is for people like me who enter and exit based on conditions: the same set of rules, but the transaction order gets changed, and as a result, I do everything right but still don’t get the fill. And those seemingly small price differences, when accumulated, turn into a bunch of hidden fees.

Honestly, I also feel jealous—seeing others profit from sniping or sandwich attacks and then walking away, it stings. But I remind myself that’s not something I can do long-term; I’m not fast enough. Anyway, I stick to the rules, and as long as I can review my trades, that’s enough.

GameFi’s economic collapse is pretty similar: studios jumping the line to farm resources, inflation kicking in, normal players’ experience crashing, and finally the coin price spiraling downward, leaving only those who can snipe. Fairness, in this game, often hurts not the big players first but the honest folks who still queue patiently. That’s all for now.
