Recently, everyone has been watching large on-chain transfers and fluctuations in hot and cold wallets on exchanges, often saying "smart money is coming/going." I also get the itch to join in. But to be honest, let's focus on one main point: when does a transaction truly "land"? Data availability is like "can the ledger be seen and verified," order is like "will the sequence be front-run," and finality is like "is there still a chance for reversal." These terms sound intimidating, but they are really just reminders: don't jump to conclusions just because a string of addresses moved, especially with repeated quick in-and-out transactions that are easily manipulated by order and confirmation times. Anyway, I still stick to my old habit—batch transactions, wait for several confirmations before adding more, taking it slow is not shameful.
