Crypto news, Solana co-founder Anatoly Yakovenko warns that artificial intelligence could pose a serious threat to post-quantum cryptography.

He points out that AI may expose vulnerabilities that the crypto industry has not yet understood, highlighting the practical challenges of deploying next-generation security systems.
Yakovenko also mentions that the current crypto industry lacks a clear understanding of the potential weaknesses of these systems, especially in complex mathematics and practical applications.
He recommends adding extra security measures, such as support for 2/3 multi-signature wallets, and integrating native protections at the transaction processing layer.
Yakovenko's message is clear: even next-generation cryptographic solutions are not foolproof, and the industry needs to prepare for unexpected risks, especially as artificial intelligence continues to develop.
