These past couple of days, I’ve been seeing a bunch of people watching the “Unlock Calendar” with knots in their stomach, saying something about there being selling pressure or whatever.
Honestly, what I’m more afraid of is another, more ominous issue: oracle feed price delays.
When you’ve got leverage on and your position is swaying right at the edge, the price has already bounced back—yet the on-chain spot price hasn’t updated. And liquidation bots won’t wait around for you to calm down emotionally…
In other words: you think you’re looking at the candlestick chart and finally exhale, but your contract might still be “handing down judgment based on the old price.”
So besides clearing permissions every week, I also keep an eye on how frequently the protocol’s oracle feeds get updated. If the updates are slow, I open fewer positions—don’t leave your fate to a delay of just a few minutes.
Take another look.
