Iran War Tightens US Mortgage and Auto Loan Standards

The Iran war has tightened US borrowing conditions as Brent crude rose above $120 a barrel and lenders raised internal cutoffs for mortgages and auto loans. Alexander Katsman, founder of Credit Booster AI, said the pullback is hitting borrowers with FICO scores between 640 and 720 the hardest.
