Just found out Grass is letting people run community nodes now and honestly this caught my attention. So basically there's this grass extension you can download, and if you use the community version instead of the regular Chrome one, you get 1.25x the points. That's basically 25% more rewards for the same thing you'd be doing anyway.

How it works is pretty straightforward - the grass extension runs quietly in the background and uses a tiny bit of your unused internet bandwidth to pull public web content for AI companies. You're basically getting paid for data that's already out there anyway. The thing I like is they're actually transparent about it. They can't see your personal stuff, your browsing history, nothing like that. It just grabs public content and you get rewarded.

The community node thing is interesting because it's their way of getting early testers. New features get tested there first before rolling out to everyone else, so you'd be getting access to money-making opportunities before the general public. It's like being part of the alpha.

Obviously the bandwidth impact is supposed to be minimal - they say you won't notice any slowdown in your actual internet speed. You just download the grass extension, set it up, and it starts earning you points while you browse normally. No weird setup required.

I'm curious if the 1.25x multiplier stays permanent or if it's just while they're building out the community node. Either way, if you're already thinking about trying something like this, getting the higher multiplier seems like the obvious move. Just download and let it run.
