Lately I've been debating whether to go with the mainnet or L2... The mainnet is definitely secure, but once I start, the gas feels like putting myself under pressure; L2 offers a smoother experience, but I'm worried that someday the bridge might have issues. The recent cross-chain bridge theft made me not want to "cut corners" anymore. My current compromise is: use L2 for small daily transactions, and for long-term storage or critical operations like changing permissions, stick to the mainnet and take it slow—pay a bit more for peace of mind. Also, when encountering oracle anomalies, I prefer to wait for confirmation; it's better to do one less transaction than to get caught up in emotional swings from a strange quote. Safety first.
