He added: "Back to work next week." The company's Bitcoin holdings are currently valued at $64.44 billion, according to blockchain-based cryptocurrency tools.
Earlier, the company acquired $255 million worth of Bitcoin last Monday. With this purchase, its total holdings increased to 818,334 Bitcoins, bought at an average price of $75,537 per Bitcoin.
At that time, the company acquired 3,273 Bitcoins at an average price of $77,906 each. However, the pace of purchases has started to decline since then. To clarify, the company reduced the size of its latest acquisition by nearly 90% compared to the $2.54 million Bitcoin purchase on April 20.
