Stacks Releases Q1 2026 Ecosystem Report for Bitcoin L2 Network

On April 28, the Bitcoin L2 network Stacks released its Q1 2026 ecosystem report. The data shows that the total value locked (TVL) in sBTC on the Stacks network reached $437 million by the end of Q1, and the sBTC deposit limit has been completely removed. The pilot product for Bitcoin staking saw a net inflow of over 320 BTC in Q1, with total participation funds exceeding $100 million since its launch at the end of 2025. In terms of ecosystem development, the capital scale of Stacks DeFi protocols reached $121 million, and the total number of wallets created on the network surpassed 400,000, with 15% created in Q1. Daily transaction volume increased by approximately 20% compared to the average level in 2025. Additionally, Stacks completed infrastructure integrations with institutions such as Fireblocks, CircleUSDC, and BitGo in Q1, and deployed performance upgrades that could enhance network capacity by up to 30 times.
