Recently, I've seen a bunch of PFP + membership benefits gameplay, and the group is as lively as a boiling pot. To put it simply, whether this is long-term value or short-term attention, I think it depends on two points: Are you buying "a sustained relationship brought by identity," or "a fleeting sense of superiority from a screenshot"? The former may be slow, but it can endure; the latter is just an emotional whirlpool, the hotter it gets, the more dangerous.

Especially now, memes and a single word from a celebrity can divert attention, the rotation is too fast. Yesterday, we were still talking about culture, and today the narrative has changed. Veteran players advise newcomers not to take the last step, and I quite agree... My approach is: the more everyone wants to enter the same membership gate, the more I pause first to see if there are people who are managing it long-term behind the door, rather than just the floor price telling stories. For now, that's enough; not chasing the hype won't cost you any less.
