Lately I’ve been seeing the secondary market argue nonstop about whether to “turn royalty on or off.” I find it kind of funny, but I’m also a little pissed… To put it plainly, the creator economy doesn’t run on a slogan like “support”—it runs on whether money can flow smoothly into the creators’ wallets. On-chain, you can clearly write rules, yet everyone still trusts “platform defaults” more, and once anything is changed, it just goes off the rails.

Even crazier, some people talk about respecting creators, but then immediately go and farm testnet points, guessing every day whether the mainnet will issue tokens—like following a TV drama. Anyway, when I look at projects now, besides the story, I also make a point of checking whether the signatures/authorizations are clean. No matter how royalties are designed, I just don’t want it to end with creators and users getting screwed together.

For now, that’s it.
