Recently, I've seen everyone staring at the unlock calendar shouting about selling pressure, but I'm actually more worried about another kind of "selling pressure"—the oracle price feed being half a beat slow. You think your position is pretty safe, but the price has already slipped elsewhere, and the system hasn't updated yet. When it finally refreshes, the liquidation line is directly broken through, and there's no time to add margin. To put it simply, the delay isn't to give you a few more minutes to survive; it's to make you die more suddenly... My current approach is very cautious: if I can avoid leverage, I avoid it; if I really open it, I leave some buffer. I'd rather earn less than get caught by the feed price causing a "sudden zeroing." Anyway, I'm socially anxious and don't want to be woken up in the middle of the night by a forced liquidation notice.
