Recently, multi-chain wallets are becoming more and more like drawers, getting messier the more I use them. Today I dug out a bunch of scattered coins and remembered why I transferred them in the first place... My current simple method: categorize by "use case," not by "chain."
A small wallet for daily interactions, I don't mind if it’s empty;
A wallet mainly for storage that I rarely touch;
And another one specifically for testing new DApps, revoke permissions after use, like locking the door when leaving, otherwise I feel uneasy.
I only found out about hardware wallet shortages when a friend mentioned it; I react pretty slowly... Anyway, I’m even less willing to click on random links now.
Recently, phishing links are rampant, and I ignore a bunch of "airdrops/subsidies" in groups—prefer to miss out.
The most annoying part of fragmentation is forgetting which chain still has a balance.
So I spend ten minutes every weekend reviewing addresses and authorization records—verbose but at least I don’t panic.
Let’s leave it at that for now.
