Hundreds of messages a day in the group, KOLs also promote "Don't miss this wave" every day, information overload eventually leads to a slip of the finger, clicking authorize/buy, then losing money and still wanting to find someone to blame. To put it plainly, no one will press the confirm button for you; impulsive buying is basically something you have to bear yourself. Especially recently, with testnet incentives and point expectations soaring, people are guessing every day whether the mainnet will issue tokens. When I see this kind of atmosphere, I first ask myself: do I want to participate or just take a gamble?
My colleague also asked me last night, "Should I also go and earn some points?" My first reaction wasn't about profit, but to check permissions, see the scope of authorization, avoid unlimited ones if possible, and avoid signing if I can. Anyway, I’d rather miss out on some excitement now than wake up one day to find my assets drained by "habitual trust."
