Golden Finance reports that on May 4th, according to CCTV International News, and based on local time reports from Al Jazeera, the latest negotiation plan proposed by Iran includes three phases. The first phase involves “transforming a ceasefire into a comprehensive truce within 30 days,” “establishing principles for an international mechanism to ensure that hostilities do not resume,” “achieving a ceasefire across all regions with both sides promising not to break it, including Iran’s regional allies and Israel,” “gradually lifting the blockade on Iranian ports by gradually opening the Strait of Hormuz,” “Iran responsible for clearing mines,” “revising previous Iranian proposals regarding compensation and other issues,” and “the U.S. withdrawing from surrounding waters of Iran and stopping new troop deployments.” The second phase includes “discussions on a comprehensive uranium enrichment halt within a maximum period of 15 years,” and “after the specified period, Iran will resume uranium enrichment according to the zero-stock principle.” Additionally, the plan opposes dismantling or destroying Iran’s nuclear facilities, and for existing high-enriched uranium stockpiles, it proposes transferring them abroad or diluting the uranium enrichment ratio. The plan also involves gradually lifting economic sanctions on Iran. In the third phase, Iran will conduct strategic talks with regional countries to discuss how to build a comprehensive security system across the region. (East News Agency)
