Gold Financial reports that on May 4th, U.S. President Trump stated in a phone interview that Iran’s new proposal is unacceptable. Trump said, “This is unacceptable to me. I have studied it, I have studied everything — this is unacceptable.” Additionally, Trump once again urged Israeli President Herzog to pardon Prime Minister Netanyahu, who is suspected of corruption.
Iran recently submitted a new plan containing 14 points through Pakistan as an intermediary to the U.S., mainly including ensuring no further military invasions, paying compensation, and establishing a new management mechanism for the Strait of Hormuz. Trump previously stated on the 2nd that he would soon evaluate Iran’s new plan, but “cannot imagine” that the plan is “acceptable.” (CCTV)
