Recently, there's been a bunch of "airdrops just for interacting" plots, basically about seeing who can resist the urge better. My current anti-FOMO strategy is pretty simple: first find a "signal"—not the kind of hype on Twitter, but on-chain signals like whether it really looks like someone is using it, if the liquidity is fragile at the first touch, and whether the contract permissions are still controlled by a single entity. If there's no signal, I won't join the rush, better to miss out than to jump in blindly.
The wave of AI agents/auto-trading is also quite interesting—on one hand, they boast "you don't need to think," but on the other hand, you still have to do your own security measures: don't grant unlimited permissions, use layered wallets, and simulate first if possible. The harshest anti-rug pull isn't the token launch itself, but when you think you're interacting, but actually you're just providing liquidity for others... Forget it, taking it slow really isn't shameful.
