I just saw a swap on the blockchain, and the slippage was extremely high. My first reaction was, "Hey, is there an arbitrage opportunity?" But then I thought about the last time I chased this kind of thing, and I realized that what I was seeing wasn't an opportunity, but a fee others were using to trap me... To put it simply, with a sandwich attack, you think you're eating meat, but you're actually the bread. Recently, there have been complaints about on-chain data tools and tagging systems being a bit laggy and possibly misleading. Now, I have to put a question mark before trusting tags; I’d rather take more screenshots as evidence and analyze them slowly. Anyway, I’d rather make fewer moves now than risk being caught in someone else’s bot queue just for a small price difference.
