Recently, I've been looking at the narrative of "shared security" in re-staking again. Basically, it's about splitting the same sense of security into multiple sales. The returns look great as they stack up, but don't also stack up illusions... I myself now only dare to throw in about 50 USD to test the waters; more than that, I just pretend I didn't see it. Especially these days, with cross-chain bridges having issues again and oracle prices acting up, everyone immediately enters a "wait for confirmation" consensus. At that moment, you realize that the real cost isn't the interest rate, but the speed at which trust erodes. Anyway, I prefer to go slower, willing to earn less, rather than wake up and find myself working for risks.
