Stop loss really is like a breakup, dragging it out without clarifying, in the end it's not reconciliation, but interest + emotions exploding together. I used to also love to tough it out, thinking "just wait a bit longer to break even," but I didn't wait to break even, the fees and sleep were gone first... Now I set strict rules for myself: no chasing, no leverage, when it hits the line accept the loss and walk away, it sounds harsh but it's stress-free. Recently, those memes and celebrity calls have become popular again, I react pretty slowly, I only saw it after everyone in the group was already rushing, forget it, I won't take the final step, a half beat late is still a half beat late, at least I won't get hit.
