These past couple of days, it really feels like information overload has been pressing me down and rubbing me into the ground. In the group chat, it’s all “Just saw it,” “Hurry over and take a look,” and the KOLs are over there posting long image threads laying out the logic, making it feel like I’m being dragged out of an art gallery and straight into a casino… To put it bluntly, when it comes to impulsively paying for something, it’s ultimately my own thumb that taps “confirm”—but the emotions are being fed to you: the group is responsible for manufacturing FOMO, and the KOL gives you a step that sounds “perfectly reasonable.” Anyway, every time I buy something and then scroll back to read the messages, I end up feeling like I bought a limited-edition poster—only to find out it’s a photocopy.

Lately, the arguments about the compliance boundaries around privacy coins/mixers have gotten even more heated. Some people say protecting privacy is absolutely a matter of principle. Others say you’ll be hit—sooner or later. And the more they fight, the more it turns into factionalism. Once the atmosphere gets hot-headed, even the floor price can end up being treated like a values poll…

What I do now is simple: first, I see whether the piece/story actually moves me. Then I see whether the community still feels like it’s made of people. That’s it.
