Still taking a high-position short in the mainstream, it's the familiar routine of the dog whales again. The overall trend remains unchanged, continuing to short from ten years ago. I just graduated, holding all my savings from an internship, and was led into the crypto world by a friend. At that time, all my classmates were following the usual path of finding jobs or taking exams for official positions; only I was lured by the phrase "easy wealth creation" and lost all focus.

Inexperienced and unable to understand even candlestick charts, I invested all my money at once. When I entered the market, a small wave of volatility hit, and the numbers on my account soared rapidly. I was floating high, thinking I had found a shortcut in life. But less than a month later, the market suddenly turned sharply downward, and the coin prices plummeted. My principal was wiped out overnight.
At that time, I didn't wake up; instead, I got blinded by greed, swiping credit cards, borrowing online loans, and even hiding from my family to borrow money everywhere—just to recover the losses. The more I lost, the more I invested; the more I invested, the more I lost. In just a year, I went from a graduate with savings to someone overwhelmed by debt. Collection calls kept ringing, friends and family gradually distanced themselves. I locked myself in a rented apartment, living on instant noodles, with no courage to go outside.
During the darkest days, looking at the red candlestick charts on the screen, I asked myself for the first time: What am I really doing? Unwilling to be crushed by the market, I gritted my teeth and uninstalled the trading app. I found a job, paying off debts while using every spare moment to study every detail of the market. During those days, I reviewed countless losing trades, noting every impulsive and lucky move, and finally understood the cruelest truth of the crypto world.
After years of accumulation, I finally dared to pick up the trading software again, only testing with very small positions. Every trade had stop-loss and take-profit set, no chasing highs, no holding onto losing positions, completely abandoning the fantasy of overnight riches. Gradually, I paid off all debts, and my account started to profit steadily. I learned to give up short-term quick gains, follow the market rhythm for long-term planning, avoid greed and impatience, and walk each step steadily.
Ten years of ups and downs, several bull and bear cycles in the crypto world, I finally managed to come out of the abyss through persistence and discipline. I settled down in real life, built a home and a career. Looking back, all those pitfalls and losses became stepping stones.
Ten years of enduring cold, yet my passion remains undiminished. In the new decade, I will still carry all these lessons and move forward rationally.
I also want to remind everyone still in the market: there are no shortcuts in the crypto world. What truly takes you far is never luck or illusions, but diligent discipline and eternal respect for risk. Keep your original intention, control yourself, and only then can you walk steadily through the ups and downs.
