Colombia's Largest Pension Fund Porvenir Launches Crypto Investment Portfolio
On April 28, it was reported that Colombia’s largest pension management institution, Porvenir, has launched a crypto investment portfolio that allows members to gain indirect exposure to Bitcoin prices by investing in BlackRock’s Bitcoin ETF, IBIT. The minimum investment amount is 100,000 Colombian pesos (approximately $25) and is aimed at savers aged 18 to 45. This product is only available for the voluntary pension system and requires a personalized risk assessment consultation.
