China’s “Heavy Haul First Route” - Daqin Railway’s Spring Maintenance and Repair Project Completed Successfully on April 27, 2026.
The construction was completed 3 days ahead of schedule, laying a solid foundation of facilities and equipment for the upcoming peak summer energy transportation.
Daqin Railway starts from Datong, Shanxi in the west, and extends to Qinhuangdao, Hebei in the east.
It is China’s main channel for “Jin coal outbound transportation” and “Western coal to the east transportation,” transporting approximately 400 million tons of coal annually.
It undertakes the coal supply guarantee task for over 6,000 domestic enterprises in industries such as power generation and steel.
The user base covers 26 provincial-level administrative regions nationwide. (Xinhua News Agency)
