The U.S. Air Force agreed to buy an undisclosed number of interceptor drones from Powerus. Powerus co-founder Veljkovic said the sale will follow a demonstration in Arizona and will be the company’s first contract to sell such weapons to the U.S. military. Reports said the U.S. military has already deployed 10,000 AI-equipped Merops interceptor drones to the Middle East.
