The NYSE has proposed a rule #change to the SEC that would permit tokenized versions of eligible equities and ETFs to be traded on the exchange as part of DTC’s three-year tokenization pilot program. These tokenized securities will share the same CUSIP, ticker, rights, and privileges as their traditional counterparts, #trading on the same order book with equivalent execution priority, while clearing and settlement will occur through DTC on a T+1 basis. #regulation
