Zcash Foundation Releases Zebra 4.4.0 Fix, Urges Immediate Node Upgrade

Zcash Foundation released Zebra 4.4.0 to fix multiple critical consensus-level security vulnerabilities and urged all node operators to upgrade immediately. The update fixes a denial-of-service flaw that could permanently halt new block discovery, a sigops-counting error that could cause consensus divergence, abnormal handling of transparent transaction signature hashes, and memory allocation amplification risks. Zcash Foundation said some flaws could make Zebra nodes accept blocks rejected by zcashd, and there is no alternative mitigation solution available.
