Just found something wild checking the blockchain history - that original genesis address 1a1zp1ep5qgefi2dmptftl5slmv7divfna still holds 50 BTC from when Satoshi mined the very first block. Can't be spent, which is kind of poetic honestly. Those coins would be worth like $3.9M+ at today's prices ($78.42K), but they're basically frozen in time as part of Bitcoin's origin story. Makes you think about how much value was locked away right from the start. The fact that we can still see Satoshi's original address on the ledger after all these years is pretty incredible when you think about it. Do you ever check out these historical addresses just to see the early Bitcoin days?
