Lummis: Plans to Advance the CLARITY Act, Bitcoin is 'True Free Money'
On April 28, U.S. Senator Cynthia Lummis stated at the ‘Bitcoin 2026’ conference that she plans to advance the CLARITY Act into the legislative process and push for its final implementation to establish a comprehensive regulatory framework for the U.S. crypto market. Lummis also remarked that Bitcoin, with its characteristics of not requiring a trusted third party and its limited supply, is ‘true free money,’ and believes that the U.S. should become the global hub for this asset.
