Ministry of Transport: On May 2nd, the total cross-regional personnel flow in society was 298 million trips.
Railway passenger volume was 19.78M trips, down 20.4% month-on-month, and up 1.2% year-on-year.
Road personnel flow (including non-operational passenger trips on expressways and general national and provincial roads, and commercial road passenger transport) was 274 million trips, down 11.2% month-on-month, and up 1.8% year-on-year.
Among them, commercial road passenger volume was 39.4 million trips, down 6.6% month-on-month, and up 14.9% year-on-year;
Non-operational passenger trips on expressways and general national and provincial roads were 234 million trips, down 12% month-on-month, and flat year-on-year.
Waterway passenger volume was 2.1M trips, up 19% month-on-month, and down 1.3% year-on-year.
Civil aviation passenger volume was 1.93M trips, down 17% month-on-month, and down 11% year-on-year.
The national postal industry handled 474 million parcels, an increase of 6.3% month-on-month;
Delivered parcels totaled 493 million, a decrease of 4.6% month-on-month. (Ministry of Transport)
